Hargo has channeled his love for Punjab's folk songs and lyrics into Pindan Vich. Featuring the powerful vocals of Pappi Gill, the song pays homage to Punjab's rich musical tradition by weaving together the tumbi, sarangi, mandolin, dadh, and, of course, the dhol. Leveraging traditional "Lok Boliyaan" Hargo added his own flavor and twist while keep the sounds authentic and folk.
Pappi Gill has cemented his status around the world as a legend in boliyan where he performs boliyan at competitions and shows from India to the USA and everywhere in between.
Working together in a recent visit to Punjab, Hargo Boparai and Pappi Gill have seamlessly combined their talents to create Pindan Vich.
The video has been shot in Hargo's home village (Boparai Kalan, Ludhiana, Punjab, India) and also his current residence in California, USA.
The song is accompanied by a vibrant video using the iconic imagery of Punjab and the USA and features members of groundbreaking American bhangra teams -- Bhangra Empire, Nachde Shokeen Gabroo, Bhangra Knightz & Golden State Bhangra (USA) in addition to California bases dholi Sunny Kullar.
